Devlog #8: New narrative scenarios for biome02 and more features !
One of the last devlogs of the year — the holidays are getting closer, and here at Forge we keep moving forward with the new biome.
We improved currency tracking, which was a frequent complaint in the feedback. This will allow players to better track the currencies they earn, something that will be important when we add the shops (very soon)!
We also added key binding configuration!
We had already completed a first general pass of the new biome, where we added very basic art, a general layout, and new platforms. But this week we added more rooms and elements related to the narrative that takes place in this new area. We moved from written text to integrating it into the project through boards, concepts, and testing.
Here we’re sharing some of the environment and NPC concepts.
